1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not rejoice in evil but rejoices with truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perserveres
LOVE NEVER FAILS.

Praise be to our God for loving us with such a great love. We are able to speak of this love because he first loved us to the point of dying for us. That is true love. I am forever greatful for his love. Amen
I want us to share briefly about love, take a few minutes and examine our lives when we say we love do we really mean it.? WHen you say you love that sister, brother, parent, neighbour, friend, gal/boy friend, enemy etc etc is your love for this person in line with the scripture above?

First and foremost bible says in 1Jn.4:19 that you cannot say you love God whom you have never seen, and yet you hate your brother. To love God we got to start by loving each other.
Love that brother that you can see then from there you can love God whom you have never seen... thus says his word. And the kind of love that is expected of us in the bible is the one found in 1Cor. 13:4-8.........
The reason why we are having problems with our neighbours, fights with our spouses/fiances,gal/boyfriends,children,bosses,why there is so much evil in the country and world today is because this love is not present in our lives. LOrd have mercy on us.
It is my prayer today that we will memorize this scripture and hide it in our hearts and meditate on it every day if possible. At the end of each day examine yourself using the check list below and ask GOd to help you the following day to work on what you failed in today.Amen

1.LOve is kind, ( be kind to all ie those you know and don't)

2.Love is patient,( be patient with evryone, from your family members, your boss, to that walmart or gas station cashier, to that driver who cut infront of you. etc etc Amen

3.LOve does not envy, (when your brother doing better than you, be happy for them, your blessing is on the way.)

4.IT does not boast, (there is nothing you got that was not given to you by GOd)

5It is not proud,(humble yourself and the lord will lift you up)

6.IT is not rude,( do not curse, bless them who bless you and do not repay evil with evil, thus says the word of God.The lord wil revenge for you)
7.It is not self-seeking,(consider others better than yourself phillipians 2:3 NIV)thus says his word)

8.It is not easily angered,( when signs of anger appear, IMMEDIATELY call on God and ask him to help you)

9.IT keeps no records of wrongs,(forgive and forget,70x7times forgive them who worng you)

10.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth, amen

11.IT always protects, (do not destroy your friend by your words but build them, do not indulge in godless chatter or gossip, instead protect and pray for the victim)

12.Always trusts,(be postive, trust in the lord in all you do-no room for fear you got the solver of all problems in your heart)

13.Always hopes,(even when things do not seem to go well, do not lose hope, be strong and things will work out well)

14.Always perseveres(Wait on God. in whatever situation persevere, what you going through is temporary then you will enjoy the fruits. )

15.LOVE NEVER FAILS. ( YOu can never fail with this kind of love. AMen)

Prayer
Lord i come to you today with heart full of thanks for demonstrating your great love for me on the cross. Forgive me for the times i have not demonstrated this true love.I pray this day that you will help me to reciprocate this love to all that i come across. I want to love according to 1 corintians 13:4-8. I want to love those i know and don't know, for your word tells me i gotta to love my brother first before i can love you. Therefore God help me, i pray in Jesus name. Amen.
